Welcome to Pink Zebra Farm!
Pink Zebra Farm is a farm that specializes in mostly rare and endangered breed farm animals and heritage vegetables.
We do raise the popular breed of Suffolk Sheep, which is not an endangered breed. We are also working on crossbreeding our Suffolk rams with black and grey wool-type ewes for natural colored fiber. We are attempting to develop a sheep that has a good quality meat-type conformation, and yet also has decent hand-spinning colored fiber.
Please see our 2009 Lamb Crop.
Some of the most interesting animals on our farm are the rare breeds of poultry we raise. Our chickens include: Black Langshans, Silver Penciled Cochin Bantams, Sicilian Buttercups, Silver Phoenix, and Ameraucanas. We also two types of ducks: Rouens and Black and White Magpies; and one type of Geese: American Buff. All of the poultry breeds, except for the Ameraucanas, are listed by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy.
We always have eggs available at our roadside stand, located at 7000 Sycamore Road, in Atascadero, California. See more information at the Egg Page.
